The countdown to a new school year is on, and District 186 is excited to welcome students, families, staff, and community members to the 2nd Annual Community Back-to-School Event on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

The Community Back-to-School Event serves as a one-stop destination for families preparing for the upcoming school year while strengthening connections between schools, families, and the community.

District #186 will be hosting a Back to School event on July 31, 2025 from 3-7pm, at the District Office at 3063 Fiat Avenue. There will be two community groups at this event offering physicals and sports physicals at low or no cost. If there are athletes from your schools who are in need of physicals you may want to provide this information to coaches so that they can inform families. This will be a first come first serve event.

Volleyball game for Thursday 2/20 has been moved to 2/24. Start time will be the same (4PM) at Jefferson Middle School.

Check out something fun to do over Winter Break! The YMCA is sponsoring a 2-ball basketball tournament on December 28th with a start time of 9am. There will be a boys and girls division for ages 7-14 years old. Please see the attached flyer for additional information, and use the provided QR code to register.
